Jack pretty much hopped straight from one plane back from Dubai to another heading out to Spain this week as he headed out to Valencia for his final test of the year in preparation for his assault on the 2010 Formula BMW Europe title.

With a few post-season tests, with new engineer Russell Dixon, under his belt already, Jack has been in a positive frame of mind with regards to next year. However, his final run-out meant that he goes into his Christmas break with a firm focus on 2010.

“All of the testing has been going really, really well since the end of the season,” said Jack. “I learned a lot throughout the 2009 season and I've taken everything on-board and I've been working really hard with Russell to improve on all of the areas I need to and the times we've been setting have been good. Obviously the first time we'll know exactly where we are will be at the first round in Barcelona in May, but I'm feeling good about everything at the minute.”

“This last test at Valencia allowed us to put a lot of other things into practice and I'm going into the Christmas holiday full of confidence. My over-riding aim for next year is to go for the outright Formula BMW Europe title and all of the hard work myself and rest of the team has been putting in at the tail end of this year and with the official tests at the beginning of 2010 I'll be in the best possible position to achieve that ambition, I really can't wait to get back into the car in the New Year,” he added.
