Jack joined some of his Racing Steps Foundation team-mates and 125cc motorcycle Grand Prix rider Bradley Smith for the Dubai 24-hour endurance kart challenge this weekend. However, an ill-handling kart meant that despite an early challenge for victory, he and the rest of the team was forced to settle for seventh place.

Despite the frustration at not being able to challenge for the win, Jack was really happy to be on the team and enjoyed his first visit to Dubai, coming away with some great memories and impressions of the Grand Prix venue.

“It was a great event and we were in with a chance of victory early on when it rained as we were a lot quicker than the other teams. But, our kart had a handling problem and it made us struggle over the full distance, finishing seventh out of 26 teams was a good result though and it was a great experience,” said Jack.

“Dubai was an amazing place, it was quite a surreal place to be as pretty much everything is man-made. But it's great and I can't wait to go back out there again, I've even put it down as one of the top of the list places I want to go on holiday to!” he added.

The event was one of the final items on Jacks busy schedule with a just a test in Valencia left to go before he can unwind over turkey and trimmings during the Christmas break.
